Workshop 1 — Draw It, Code It, Wear It
Five days of making. Each kid sketched a character, drew it in Procreate, swapped it into one of Tru's games, and printed it on a t-shirt to take home.

Grade 5 · Modified: Wild West
"The workshop was great! I would definitely recommend it. Learning all the ProCreate tools was really fun. Playing the games we made afterwards brings back so many memories."Manu

Grade 4 · Modified: Wild West
What I learnedI learned how to use Scratch MIT, which teaches you how to code characters using blocks.
"You and Tru have unlocked something! ❣️✨ and if you do a version 2.0, I'm sure Kavi would enthusiastically join!"Priya — Kavi's mom

Grade 5 · Modified: Rise
"I loved Truman camp because I got to make my own character on my iPad and then make it come alive in the video game. Also getting to have my marshmallow character on stickers and a shirt IRL was really cool too!"Griffin

Grade 1 · Modified: Hot Dog Run
What I learnedI learned there's a faster way to color, using click and drag in Procreate.
"He hand drew one of Truman's little guys and taped it to our ceiling. Beckham loved the workshop — he didn't want to go home 😂 told our neighbor Tru has been drawing since he was 'like 0 years old' 😂"Jocelyn — Beckham's mom

Grade 4 · Modified: Wild West
"I think this is just a brilliant idea and you guys made it feel really special and elevated."Susan — Julian's mom

Procreate + Animate
What I learnedI learned how to make perfect squares and circles, and all the features in Procreate and Animate.
Workshop 2 — Making Shirts with Procreate
A two-hour session for our youngest makers. Each kid picked their favourite BeTru characters, laid out a design, learned to write in Procreate, and made vinyl decals. Truman heat-pressed each one onto a t-shirt to wear home. Kids also got a notebook with stickers to decorate.
